Apple begins to sell refurbished iPhones in its online store
Apple in it’s first time ever has started to sell refurbished iPhones through its online store. The iPhone joins other refurbished products such as the iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. Previously Apple has used its refurbished iPhone inventory for repair/replacements.
Currently customers can purchase a 16GB iPhone 6s for only $449.00. 16GB and 64GB iPhone 6s Plus models are available for sale. All four colors (Silver, Space Gray, Gold, and Rose Gold) are in-stock online. All refurbished models come with a one-year factory warranty. It’s suggested that some of the handsets are a result of returned devices from Apple’s recently introduced iPhone Upgrade Program.
In the end, customers should save up to 15% ($110) on a new device. On a side note, all refurbished iPhones are unlocked and are SIM-free. Additionally the handsets include a brand new battery and outer casing. As usual with Apple’s refurbished products, supplies are limited. So if there’s a particular device you’re looking at it’s best to grab it now before the configuration sells out.
