Apple reschedules it’s Q4 earnings report due to “scheduling conflict”
Apple announced last week that its Q4 2016 earnings call would take place Thursday, October 27th. Apple has now updated its Investor News webpage to announce that due to a “scheduling conflict,” the earnings call has been moved up to Tuesday, October 25th.
It’s unclear why the company has decided reschedule or what this “scheduling conflict” is. This isn’t the first time Apple has pulled something like this. Their Q2 earnings call was rescheduled this year so executives could attend a memorial service. This was the first year Apple didn’t release opening weekend iPhone sales numbers due to supply constraints.
Apple’s reported revenue from last quarter consisted of $42.4 billion on sales of 40.4 million iPhones, 9.9 million iPads, and 4.2 million Macs. This year Apple is expected to announce revenue between $45.5 billion and $47.5 billion.
The call will be held at 2PM PT and the Cupertino firm will also broadcast the call live on their website.
