Some Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus pre-orders have started to ship ahead of estimates
It’s pretty obvious that the new Jet Black color Apple introduced this year is by far the most popular. In fact, it’s so popular that the shipping times slipped into October/November within a matter of minutes after pre-orders started. On top of that Apple announced to customers that there would be no iPhone 7 Plus models and no Jet Black models available to purchase on launch day. While this may have left many fans heartbroken, it appears Apple is working tirelessly to get out more Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus pre-orders.
Many reports from customers have flooded in recently stating that their orders that were originally scheduled for a month or two away will now be receiving their devices over the next few days. While it doesn’t appear to be the case with all orders, some customers who had November delivery windows are already seeing shipment notifications. Some are even reporting improved delivery estimates from carriers.
As is the case whenever Apple introduces a new color option, supply always seems to fall short and this was no exception. Jet Black offers a unique deep black with a mirror-like finish making it look absolutely stunning. There only downside is that Apple has already warned potential customers that the Jet Black is prone to “micro-abrasions” and scratching due to it’s shiny coating.
