Thieves take $13K worth of iPhones from a busy Apple Store in Massachusetts
A group of seven unidentified thieves targeted Apple’s Natick Collection Outlet retail location on Tuesday according to The MetroWest Daily News, with the suspects ripping 19 iPhones from their security tethers and fleeing the location within minutes.
Following the incident, the Natick Police Department’s Facebook page shared CCTV video footage of the “gang”, showing the group of seven quickly entering the mall and heading straight to the Apple Store; gathering around the busy, iconic wooden tables like a “pack” before committing the crime.
The suspects who are believed to be teens or young adults all entered the mall in hoodies at 19:15pm on Tuesday 18th October 2016. | This attack is one of many plaguing Apple Stores; a similar theft took place last week in the neighbouring town of Hingham.
