First iPhone Duo deliveries arrive to customers in Australia and New Zealand

Breaking News Apple’s first foldable iPhone is beginning to reach customers, with the first iPhone Duo pre-orders now arriving across Australia and New Zealand as Friday, October 23 gets underway.
The launch marks the first time customers can get their hands on Apple’s new foldable iPhone, more than six weeks after the company unveiled the device at its September event.
Australia and New Zealand are among the first markets to enter October 23 because of their time zones, with deliveries and in-store availability set to expand around the world throughout the day.
Apple opened iPhone Duo pre-orders on October 16, with the device starting at $1,999 in the United States. It is available in star white and night sky with storage options ranging from 256GB to 2TB.
iPhone Duo combines a 5.4-inch outer display with a 7.6-inch folding inner display and is powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip. The Apple Post’s complete iPhone Duo guide covers the new design, cameras, battery, software and accessories.
The device also introduces significant changes to iOS for the foldable form factor, including side-by-side multitasking. iPhone Duo ships with iOS 27.1 rather than the original iOS 27 release.
Deliveries will continue across Asia, the Middle East and Europe as Friday begins in those regions, before iPhone Duo reaches customers across North America later in the day.
