Apple’s first foldable iPhone will officially arrive next month, with iPhone Duo starting at $1,999 in the United States and pre-orders opening on Friday, October 16.
The new model will be offered with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB of storage and comes in two finishes, star white and night sky.
Customers in more than 70 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, China, France, Germany, India and Japan, will be able to place pre-orders from 5 a.m. Pacific Time on October 16.
Apple says the first iPhone Duo orders will begin arriving on Friday, October 23, when the device will also become available through stores. A further 28 countries and regions will receive the foldable iPhone from October 30.
At $1,999 before additional storage upgrades, iPhone Duo becomes one of the most expensive iPhones Apple has introduced. The device combines a 5.4-inch outer display with a 7.6-inch folding inner display and is powered by the same A20 Pro chip found in the iPhone 18 Pro lineup.
Apple will also sell two dedicated accessories. The iPhone Duo Case costs $79 in the United States and comes in navy blue or sand, while the iPhone Duo Folio with Kickstand costs $129 and is offered in navy blue and taupe.
Both accessories support MagSafe and Qi2 charging, with the Folio adding an integrated kickstand for positioning iPhone Duo at different viewing angles.
iPhone Duo will ship with iOS 27.1 rather than the initial version of iOS 27, which Apple is releasing on September 14.
