How to reframe a photo with Apple Intelligence in iOS 27

Photos in iOS 27 can do more than crop and rotate an image. On compatible iPhones, Spatial Reframing uses Apple Intelligence to help improve the composition of a picture after it has already been taken.
The tool is designed for occasions where the original framing is not quite right, allowing Photos to reposition the composition while intelligently handling the image around it.
Spatial Reframing requires a compatible Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone. Feature availability can also depend on your device language and region.
How to use Spatial Reframing in iOS 27
- Open Photos and choose the picture you want to edit.
- Tap Edit.
- Open the photo framing controls.
- Select Reframe.
- Adjust the composition until the subject is positioned where you want it.
- Wait for Apple Intelligence to process the new framing.
- Review the finished image and tap Done.
You can return to the editing interface at any time if you want to make further changes or restore the original version of the photo.
