Apple TV+ offering free streaming all weekend

Apple has announced that this weekend, Apple TV+ will be completely free to stream, allowing anyone to access its entire catalog of TV shows and movies without a subscription. The free streaming event will run from January 4 to January 5, giving viewers a chance to explore Apple’s vast library of original content.
Starting Saturday, anyone with a compatible device — from iPhones and iPads to smart TVs, PlayStation, or other supported devices — will be able to enjoy shows like Ted Lasso and The Morning Show, along with sci-fi series like Foundation and Severance at no cost.
This marks the first time Apple has offered a free streaming weekend, likely aimed at boosting viewership for its Apple TV+ service, which has faced challenges in attracting a larger audience despite its growing library of content.
