2024 iPad Air shipping from factories ahead of upcoming launch, leaker claims
Apple’s unannounced next-generation iPad Air is reportedly shipping from factories to Apple distribution centers around the world ahead of its reveal in the coming weeks, according to a Chinese leaker who claims that “Everything is ready” for launch.
As reported by MacRumors, a leaker known as “Instant Digital” on Weibo has said that manufacturers in China are now shipping the 2024 iPad Air in two sizes to overseas locations, suggesting that the launch of the new device is imminent as everything is in place for the hardware to launch.
Rumors suggest that the 2024 iPad Air will be available in two sizes: 10.9-inches and 12.9-inches.
The device is expected to feature a redesigned rear camera layout, with both the camera and flash housed in a protruding rectangular module, similar to that seen on the iPhone X.
The 2024 iPad Air is expected to feature the M2 chip with Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E.
