Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to be the most popular out of the four new models in the series, according to a report from reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who says the device, the most expensive iPhone to date, will likely account for 35–40% of iPhone 15 shipments.
In a report on Tuesday, Kuo says “iPhone 15 Pro Max, the most expensive iPhone, accounts for 35–40% of iPhone 15 series shipments, the highest share. iPhone 15 Pro Max shipments in 2H24 also grew 10–20% YoY compared to iPhone 14 Pro Max in the same period.”
Kuo believes the success of the iPhone 15 Pro Max will likely be attributed to the new periscope camera lens, which will be available exclusively on the 6.7-inch Pro Max model.
“Apple is optimistic about the selling point of the periscope, which is only available in iPhone 15 Pro Max,” says Ku0.
Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to bring substantial upgrades over the current-generation iPhone 14 series.
