iPhone 12 Pro Max has best smartphone display, says DisplayMate

DisplayMate has said the iPhone 12 Pro Max has the best smartphone display it has ever tested, awarding the device with the “Best Smartphone Display Award” and highest-ever display performance grade of A+.

The reviewers praise the iPhone 12 Pro Max for its “state-of-the-art” display, which Apple says has over 3.4 million pixels, the most ever in an iPhone. The OLED panel offers up to 1,200 nits in peak brightness for
HDR photos and movies, as well as a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio for true blacks and bright whites.
