YouTube to live stream Apple’s ‘Time Flies’ event next Tuesday

YouTube will offer a live stream of next week’s “Time Flies” event, which is expected to see Apple announce the Apple Watch Series 6 and all-new iPad Air 4.

Apple has been live streaming events on YouTube since last year’s iPhone 11 and Apple Watch Series 5 launch event, giving users the option to either stream live on Apple.com, through the Events app on ‌Apple TV‌ or YouTube. Apple has also previously offered a live stream on Twitter, but it is unclear if this will happen next week.

The event next Tuesday is said to be focused on everything but the iPhone, with rumors of new Apple Watch, iPad, Mac, AirPods, HomePod, and Apple TV models making an appearance. Bloomberg author Mark Gurman has said that rather than announcing the next-generation iPhone lineup this month, an October event is likely following Apple’s own confirmation that the iPhone 12 will be launching later than usual.

YouTube is allowing users to set a reminder for next week’s event, with Apple likely to be offering the same through Twitter for its own stream online.
