Apple announces new Translate app, supporting 11 languages

Apple has unveiled “Translate”, a new app launching with iOS 14 that offers Google Translate-like language translation of voice and text.
Showcased today during the unveiling of iOS 14 that sees the biggest update ever to Home Screen pages with redesigned widgets, updates to Messages, and more announced, the new built-in translator supports 11 different languages including, English, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic.
Apple touts that all the translations made using the app are processed locally with the device’s Neural Engine, allowing the app to perform even without an internet connection.
