Apple is beginning to send promotional emails to owners of the Apple Watch Series 4, touting the ability to take an electrocardiogram right from their wrist.
ECG functionality has been available on the Apple Watch Series 4 in the United States since December 2018, with Apple expanding the highly anticipated feature to Hong Kong and 19 European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom in March.
The email, as seen below, encourages wearers to install and offers instructions as to how users can perform electrocardiogram and log symptoms that sync with the Health app.
Apple notes the ECG app is not intended to be used by people under 22 years old, and that the system does not detect a heart attack, blood clots, a stroke or other heart related conditions.
