Apple-owned Beats launches customizable Beats 360 headphones

Beats, the Apple-owned audio brand, has launched Beats 360, a new flagship pair of over-ear headphones featuring interchangeable earcup and headband cushions for the first time.
The new headphones are available to order now for $349.99 in the United States, with in-store availability beginning September 24. Beats 360 launches in more than 100 countries and regions in Black, Cloud, Pink and Sky.
Apple acquired Beats in 2014, and the brand continues to operate as part of Apple while maintaining its own identity and product lineup. Beats 360 supports features across both Apple and Android devices, with a custom Beats chip handling connectivity.
The biggest change is customization. Users can swap both the earcup and headband cushions, choosing between breathable Performance Knit and softer UltraPlush materials. Beats is selling separate Cushion Kits in multiple colors, allowing owners to change the appearance and feel of the headphones.
Beats says Beats 360 delivers its most advanced Active Noise Cancelling to date, offering up to 1.75 times more total noise cancellation than Beats Studio Pro. The headphones also support Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking and feature nine digital MEMS microphones across the design.
For Apple users, Beats 360 supports one-touch pairing, Hey Siri, Automatic Switching, Audio Sharing, FaceTime with Spatial Audio and Find My with network location support. Android features include Fast Pair, Audio switch and Find Hub.
Battery life reaches up to 32 hours, while Fast Fuel provides up to one hour of playback from a five-minute USB-C charge. Beats 360 also carries an IPX4 sweat and water resistance rating, positioning the headphones for workouts as well as everyday listening and travel.
Beats 360 Cushion Kits are available to order alongside the headphones. Performance Knit comes in Black, Cloud, Pink, Sky, Navy and Volt, while UltraPlush is available in Black and Cloud. The kits normally cost $49.99 in the United States, although Beats is offering them for $9.99 for a limited time in select markets including the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, Australia, South Korea and China.
Alongside the Beats 360 launch, Beats Studio Pro has received a new $299.99 U.S. price.
