MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max available starting today

Apple’s new MacBook Pro lineup, powered by the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, is now available to purchase following last week’s pre-order launch.
The updated MacBook Pro introduces a new CPU architecture featuring what Apple describes as its fastest CPU core yet, along with a next-generation GPU that includes a Neural Accelerator in each core. Apple says the improvements deliver up to four times faster AI performance compared to the previous generation and up to eight times faster AI performance compared to MacBook Pro models powered by the M1 chip.
The laptop is available in both 14-inch and 16-inch sizes and comes in space black and silver finishes. Apple has also increased the starting storage configurations, with M5 Pro models beginning at 1TB and M5 Max models starting at 2TB.
Like the new MacBook Air, the MacBook Pro also features Apple’s N1 chip for support of Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 connectivity. The new MacBook Pro lineup is available starting today through Apple Store locations, apple.com, and the Apple Store app.
