Apple is offering a free limited-edition AirTag in Japan to mark the New Year.
The promotion is available with select iPhone purchases and features a special Daruma engraving.
Daruma dolls are a traditional Japanese symbol linked to good luck and the fulfilment of wishes.
The offer runs from January 2 to January 5.
During the event, Apple is also providing Apple Gift Cards worth up to ¥38,000 with the purchase of selected products.
These include iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods and certain accessories.
Apple said the AirTag giveaway is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
A total of 65,000 limited-edition AirTags will be available as part of the promotion.
