Distribution centres prepare for iPhone 17 deliveries

Deliveries of Apple’s new iPhone line-up begin this Friday, with distribution hubs around the world gearing up to ship devices to customers.
T-Mobile executive Jon Freier has posted images on X showing stacks of iPhone 17 boxes at one of the carrier’s distribution centres. The photos offer a first real-world look at the packaging for Apple’s latest devices.
The iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max come in white boxes featuring the back of the device on the front of the packaging.
The iPhone Air, Apple’s thinnest handset ever, is shown from the side to highlight its 5.6mm profile.
All four models include the new Center Stage front camera, featuring a square sensor for landscape selfies, ultra-stabilised 4K HDR video and Dual Capture for recording on the front and rear cameras at once.
The standard iPhone 17 introduces a larger 6.3-inch ProMotion display, the A19 chip and an upgraded 48MP camera system.
The iPhone Air has a titanium frame, second-generation Ceramic Shield and a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display.
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max feature a new aluminium unibody design, the A19 Pro chip, improved cooling and a triple-camera system with up to 8x optical zoom.
The iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are available to pre-order now, with deliveries and in-store sales beginning Friday, September 19.
