Apple announces ‘It’s Glowtime’ event for September 9: iPhone 16, Apple Watch Series 10, and more expected

Apple has announced it will host its next a special event on September 9, called “It’s Glowtime.”
Scheduled to be held online, it will commence at 10 a.m. PT. The event will be available to stream online through the Apple website, on YouTube, and through the Apple TVapp.
Anticipated highlights include the unveiling of the iPhone 16 series and accessories, a new Apple Watch Series 10, upgraded AirPods, and more. The event will also see Apple announce the release date of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and watchOS 11.
The highlight of the event is expected to be the unveiling of the iPhone 16 series, including the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models. These new iPhones are anticipated to feature a design similar to the iPhone 15 lineup, but with some key updates, such as a new capacitive button on the side for capturing photos and videos. The Pro models are also expected to have slightly larger displays, with the iPhone 16 Pro rumored to have a 6.3-inch screen and the Pro Max a 6.9-inch screen.
In addition to the new iPhones, Apple is also expected to introduce the Apple Watch Series 10 at the event. The Series 10 is rumored to feature larger displays, potentially rivaling the size of the Apple Watch Ultra, along with a thinner case design. This could represent one of the most significant updates to the Apple Watch in recent years.
The event is also likely to see the introduction of new AirPods, with Apple expected to launch two new models of its entry-level AirPods, both featuring noise cancellation for the first time.
While the focus will be on these new products, there are also hints that Apple is working on new Macs with M4 chips, though these are expected to launch later in the year.
