With iOS 18, Apple introduces two highly anticipated features for iPhone users: the ability to lock and hide apps directly from the Home Screen.
When locking an app, users must authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID, or their device’s passcode. This ensures secure access, while also hiding the locked app’s information from Search, Siri, and elsewhere across iOS, enhancing privacy.
iOS 18 also brings the exciting addition of completely hiding an app from the Home Screen. Private apps are now stored in a Hidden folder, maintaining confidentiality by not showing up in Search, Siri, or other system features.
