Apple Store down ahead of ‘Let Loose’ iPad event
Apple has taken down the online Apple Store ahead of today’s “Let Loose” special event, where the iPhone maker is expected to launch new iPad hardware and accessories, including the rumored 2024 iPad Pro, iPad Air, Apple Pencil, and Magic Keyboard.
Apple’s next-generation iPad Pro is rumored to be powered by the M4 chip, with the device slated to feature new OLED displays, offering a better viewing experience over LED on the current-generation models thanks to several advantages in display quality including a larger color range and high contrast levels, better handling of darkness and lighting precision, and fast response times.
Rumors suggest that the 2024 iPad Air will be available in two sizes: 10.9-inches and 12.9-inches.
The device is expected to feature a redesigned rear camera layout, with both the camera and flash housed in a protruding rectangular module, similar to that seen on the iPhone X.
