Apple rumored to be working on two new iPad Air models, new screen sizes possible

Apple is allegedly working on two new iPad Air models, each with Wi-Fi and cellular options, suggesting that new small and large screen sizes could be offered, similar to how Apple offers the iPad Pro in 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes.
According to a report from 9to5Mac, an unnamed source has claimed that Apple “has been experimenting with two new versions of the iPad Air,” codenamed J507 and J508, which will either offer two new screen sizes or an enhanced version of the base model with improved specs.
Details about the two new models remain unknown, with the report noting that the “plans may change and this second version of the new iPad Air may never see the light of day.”
Rumors have previously pointed to Apple’s next iPad Air retaining the same overall design as the current model, with the next upgrade likely offering minor improvements over the existing version.
