Apple promoting iPhone 15 #AppleEvent with special X (Twitter) hashflag

Apple is gearing up for its ‘Wonderlust’ special event on September 12, where it is expected to announce the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, Apple Watch Series 9, next-generation Apple Watch Ultra, and more, with a new hashflag on X, formally Twitter, that shows on posts using the #AppleEvent hashtag, featuring a custom-designed Apple logo that matches the design of the ‘Wonderlust’ artwork.
After announcing the upcoming special event on Tuesday, the new hashflag design is beginning to roll out across Twitter, with Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, Greg Goswiak sharing as teaser, saying “Wonder awaits” with a copy of the event’s animated artwork.
Apple is no stranger to hashflags. All of its recent announcements have had event-themed hashflags on X, which show whenever a user tweets with the #AppleEvent hashtag.

The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater and will be available to watch live at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time, with Apple inviting members of the media to watch the special event in-person, although the actual showcase will likely be pre-recorded as per recent special events.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max at the special event, as well as confirming the release date for iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and tvOS 17. The event is also expected to see Apple announce the Apple Watch Series 9, next-generation Apple Watch Ultra, and the release date for watchOS 10.
Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to bring substantial upgrades over the current-generation iPhone 14 series, although for the first time, Apple is rumored to make one of its most exciting new features exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
