Apple rumored to bring 48-megapixel camera to all iPhone 15 models, including non-Pro devices

Apple is rumored to be bringing the 48-megapixel camera system previously found exclusively on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max to all four iPhone 15 models, including the non-Pro iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, according to a research note from Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu.
According to the insight, the expansion of the 48-megapixel camera system will see Apple make tweaks to the sensors used on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max to capture more light for improved image quality, although these new three-stacked sensors are reportedly facing supply issues.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus currently use a 12-megapixel camera system, with the rumored 48-megapixel lens set to mark a signifiant increase in camera capability.
In addition to the new camera system, Apple is expected to bring the Dynamic Island from the iPhone 14 Pro to all four iPhone 15 models this year, making the feature available for the first time not just on the ‘Pro’ series models. Previous reports have claimed that Apple won’t bring ProMotion or its Always-On Display feature to the regular iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus.

It has been rumored that the new devices will be available in a new color — cyan-green, and that the new models will have a “frosted glass” back design, matching the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
