Apple discontinues previous iPhone SE

As expected, Apple has discontinued its previous-generation iPhone SE after announcing a new model at today’s “Peek Performance” special event.
The new iPhone SE features the A15 Bionic chip from the iPhone 13, 5G connectivity, better battery life, improved durability, and a new camera system with Photographic Styles, Deep Fusion for a new, higher price of $429 (US).
The previous iPhone SE had an A13 Bionic chip, 3GB RAM, starting at $399 with 64GB and 128GB storage configurations, compared to the $429 starting price of the latest iPhone SE that comes in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage configurations.
The new iPhone features the same overall design as the previous version that has now been discounted, sporting an iPhone 8-style design with a 4.7-inch LCD display, chunky top and bottom bezels, a Touch ID Home button, a single rear camera with LED True Tone flash and more.
