Apple to host ‘Unity’ Apple Watch Activity Challenge next month

Apple will honor Black History Month next month with the return of its annual “Unity” Apple Watch Activity Challenge, rewarding those who close their Move ring seven days in a row during February with a trio of animated stickers to be used in Messages and a virtual trophy in the Fitness app.

Running from February 7 through February 28, the Activity Challenge will reward participants with a total of five animated stickers, with Apple Watch users likely to be notified about the upcoming challenge within the next week.

Last year, Apple announced App Store editorial collections, Apple Maps Guides, Today at Apple sessions, and more alongside a new limited-edition “Black Unity” Apple Watch Series 6, accessories, and a “Unity” watch face for Black History Month. There’s no word on whether Apple will go beyond the planned Activity Challenge for Black History Month this year, though we will likely hear of any plans in the coming days.
