Apple shares new ‘Doin’ Laps’ iPhone 13 ad
Apple is promoting the iPhone 13 with a new ad titled “Doin’ Laps” as part of the ongoing “Relax, it’s iPhone” advertising series, showing a child cycling laps around the neighbourhood while recording himself all day on his iPhone, promoting the device’s long battery life.
Set to the song “I Look Good” by O.T. Genasis, the “Doin’ Laps” starts off by showing a child mounting an iPhone to the front of his bike, positioning himself in front of the camera and hitting record. The minute-long slot goes on to show the child slowly peddling across the street and sidewalk as the day turns to dusk and the darkness sets in.
The ad closes with the tagline “Loooooooger batter life. Relax, it’s iPhone.”
Apple on Thursday shared “Run Baby Run,” another iPhone 13 ad that focuses on the device’s durability, specifically showing how the device can withstand drops on hard surfaces thanks to the Ceramic Shield display, which offers 4x drop protection compared to older iPhone models.
