iPad mini expected to get a redesign this year, featuring an all-screen display
Leaker Jon Prosser has shared renders allegedly showing what to expect from Apple’s next iPad mini, which will reportedly feature an all-screen display, USB-C port, Touch ID power button, and more.
Prosser, who claims the new iPad mini will be announced before the end of the year, reports Apple will offer the device in three colors, including black, silver, and gold, with 5G support.
The new iPad is also rumored to be powered by the Apple A14 chip and launch alongside a new, smaller Apple Pencil.
Separate reports have claimed the new iPad mini may feature a larger 8.4-inch display, up from the 7.9-inch display on the current-generation model.
Leaker Sonny Dickson shared alleged iPad mini dummy models in April, which may have offered our first look at the new design.
