Apple begins tweeting WWDC21 reminders ahead of today’s event

WWDC is just 3 hours away! As the highly-anticipated event nears, Apple is beginning to Tweet its special pre-event reminders for today’s keynote which begins at 10 a.m PT.

In typical fashion, Apple started Tweeting invites to WWDC last week, offering to send personalized event reminders to those interested in watching the event live on Apple.com.

Users who tap the Favorite button on the invitation Tweet receive a personalized confirmation from the official @Apple Twitter handle, plus reminders in the run-up to the special event.

Alongside the reminders, Apple has a special ‘hashflag’ custom icon on Twitter for the WWDC21 hashtag, showing whenever somebody Tweets #WWDC21.
