VanMoof S3 and X3 e-bikes now integrate with Apple’s Find My network

With the launch of Apple’s new Find My network today, e-mobility brand VanMoof has announced that from today, new S3 and X3 e-bikes will integrate with the Find My app, allowing riders to add their bike to the “Items” tab in the Find My app to track their VanMoof bikes on the Find My network from an iPhone, iPad or Mac.

VanMoof is one of the first brands to integrate with the Find My network. Chipolo announced it is launching the first third-party item tracker with Find My support in June with the ONE Spot – a small, round item tracker that can easily be attached to belongings, such as wallets, backpacks, and keys, to be tracked in the Find My app.

All new VanMoof S3 & X3 models bought as of today will be compatible with the Apple Find My network.

The Find My network is a crowdsourced network of hundreds of millions of Apple devices that use Bluetooth wireless technology to detect missing devices or items nearby, and report their approximate location back to the owner. The entire process is end-to-end encrypted and anonymous, so no one else, not even Apple or the third-party manufacturer, can view a device’s location or information.
