With rumors pointing to Apple announcing its long-awaited AirTags item trackers, next-generation iPad Pro and third-generation AirPods next month, Chinese site 52audio shared on Sunday what they claim to be Apple’s new, redesigned AirPods and accompanying wireless charging case.

The site, which has previously published images that claim to show the next version of the wireless earbuds, suggests the new “AirPods 3” will have a design similar to the AirPods Pro, featuring a smaller stem and replaceable silicone ear tips, touch controls that replace the single and double-tap controls on the current AirPods, and more.

First spotted by MacRumors, the report from 52audio claims that as expected, the new AirPods will likely lack Active Noise Cancelation found on the high-end Pro model, and that the battery life will remain the same as the current-generation AirPods it will replace with up to 5 hours of listening time with a single charge, despite earlier claims from Bloomberg that Apple is looking to up this with its next release.

The charging case for the new AirPods doesn’t appear to have been changed dramatically based on the images shared, with it looking like the earbuds will once again only be available in no other colors than white.

Apple was said to be planning an event to announce the release of new products on March 16, however reputable Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman quickly dismissed the claims, saying March 16 was unlikely, while not ruling out a March event completely.
