Leak shows Nomad accessories for rumored Apple AirTags

Apple is widely rumored to be launching new AirTags item trackers in March. Ahead of any official announcement of the trackers from Apple, leaked images today show what third-party accessory maker Nomad is planning to release for when the trackers go on sale.

AirTags have been on the lips of Apple followers for quite some time. The Tile-like trackers are expected to attach to valuables such as wallets, backpacks, keys, and more, allowing users to track their belongings in the Find My app, which is rumored to notify users as soon as they become separated from their valuables, with the exception of when items have been left behind at a pre-defined  “Safe Location”, such as at the user’s home or workplace.

Leaker Evan Blass has shared images of a new “Nomad AirTags Keychain” and “Nomad AirTags Glasses Holder.” Apple themselves are rumored to be launching a keychain for AirTags however, Nomad appear to be readying an alternative for those who want something a little different, and likely a little cheaper.

The keychain is everything you would expect it to be. It houses the AirTags tracker in a pouch and attaches to your keys with a metal hoop. The notes attached with the leak says the accessory will be made from a mix of leather and microfibre.

The glasses holder on the other hand is a black braided cord with an AirTags pouch and interchangeable rubber tips, for users to slide their glasses on to.

Blass hasn’t shared any pricing details. Rumors point to AirTags being announced in March at Apple’s first media event of 2021.
