Apple shares trailer for season 2 of ‘For All Mankind’

Apple has shared an official trailer for season 2 of Apple TV+ original ‘For All Mankind’, teasing the return of the series that made its debut last year as one of the very first shows to launch as part of the streaming service.

The trailer doesn’t come with a release date for when the next season will begin airing, but the minute-long clip offers a taste of what’s to come, showing scenes inside the mission control center and astronauts on the moon, with a teaser suggesting the series will focus on the increased tensions between the US and Russia, with a voice over heard saying “The greatest threat the United States faces, is posed by the Soviet Union.”

Apple’s brief description for the trailer on YouTube says: “The race continues in Season 2.”

The Apple Post reported last week that the cast of Apple TV+’s ‘The Morning Show’ were midway through filming episode 1 of season 2 when shooting was suspended due to COVID-19, with the show’s director saying filming will continue into 2021.
