Apple has announced that from August 17 to August 25, for every transaction made using Apple Pay either online on Apple.com, within the Apple Store app, or at one of Apple’s retail stores, the company will donate $10 to the National Park Foundation.
The donation scheme follows after it was revealed that Apple will host a special Apple Watch Activity Challenge on Sunday, August 25 in celebration of the Grand Canyon National Park’s 100th anniversary.
Funds raised from Apple’s donation program will go to The National Park Foundation, a charitable partner of the National Park Service. The foundation aims to “enhance everyone’s ability to enjoy the natural, cultural, and historic treasures within America’s national parks.”
