Apple will host its next Apple Watch Activity Challenge on Sunday, August 25 in celebration of the Grand Canyon National Park’s 100th anniversary, encouraging users to complete a walk, run, hike, or wheelchair workout of at least three miles in distance.
As discovered by Kyle Seth Gray on Twitter, the challenge will reward participants who meet the three miles workout requirement with exclusive badges in the Activity app, alongside animated stickers which can be sent via iMessage and used during FaceTime calls.
Taking part is simple. Apple Watch wearers can begin a workout in any app that records workouts to the Health app on iOS. – Here’s how to take part.
