Apple’s 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 is now available, arriving in stores and with customers today, November 6. It brings the company’s latest M6 chip to the familiar MacBook Pro design without the touchscreen or OLED display found on Apple’s more expensive new models.
The M6 MacBook Pro starts at $1,999 in the United States and £1,999 in the United Kingdom. Apple offers the laptop in space black and silver, with configurations available through its online store following the opening of preorders on October 28.
According to Apple’s official M6 MacBook Pro announcement, the chip has a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU. Apple claims graphics can be up to 30 percent faster than on the M5 model, while its updated AI hardware is designed to accelerate tasks running directly on the Mac.
The model retains the 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, a 12MP Center Stage camera, six-speaker audio and a selection of ports including Thunderbolt 4, HDMI and an SDXC card slot. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 are new, and Apple rates battery life at up to 24 hours.
Buyers comparing MacBook Pro models should pay particular attention to the display. The M6 version does not offer Touch, Dynamic Island or the tandem OLED PROLED XDR panel introduced on the new M5 Pro and M5 Max laptops. Those features come at a substantial price premium.

Apple says the new MacBook Pro begins reaching customers and Apple Store locations today. Online delivery and pickup estimates depend on the selected configuration and store, so ordering on launch day does not guarantee immediate collection or delivery.
