Apple says the App Store now sees nearly 1 billion visitors every week

Apple says the App Store is now attracting nearly one billion average weekly visitors, underlining the enormous scale of the platform as Services revenue reaches a new all-time high.

CEO John Ternus disclosed the figure during Apple’s fiscal Q4 2026 earnings call, adding that the number of users paying for at least one Apple or third-party service also reached a record high during the September quarter.

Apple’s Services business generated $31.6 billion in quarterly revenue, up 10% year over year. The company reported all-time records across video, cloud services, payments and advertising, alongside a September-quarter record for music.

The scale extends beyond App Store traffic. Apple says it now has more than 1.5 billion paid subscriptions across its ecosystem, with subscriptions growing at a double-digit rate during the quarter. The Apple Post previously reported when Apple first passed the 1.5 billion subscription milestone.

Those subscriptions include Apple’s own services as well as eligible third-party subscriptions purchased through the App Store. Apple also says both transacting accounts and paid accounts reached new all-time highs.

The company’s installed base gives it an unusually large audience to sell those services to. Apple now has more than 2.5 billion active devices worldwide, with the installed base reaching record levels across every major product category and geographic segment.

Apple is continuing to widen its Services offering, including expanding iCloud+ plans that bundle Apple TV and Apple Arcade in more than 100 countries and regions. The company also recently launched Apple Pay in India, giving it access to another major market.

Services were one of the strongest parts of Apple’s record $114.5 billion Q4, and Apple expects Services revenue to grow another 8% to 9% year over year during the holiday quarter.
