M6 MacBook Pro keeps Liquid Retina XDR display with 1,600 nits and nano-texture option

Apple’s new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 keeps the Liquid Retina XDR display, offering up to 1,600 nits of peak HDR brightness and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

The display remains focused on high-end photo, video and creative work, with deep blacks, bright highlights and wide color support designed for HDR content.

Apple is also continuing to offer the optional nano-texture finish for users who regularly work in bright or challenging lighting conditions, reducing reflections and glare without requiring a matte screen protector.

The display sits alongside a 12MP Center Stage camera with Desk View, a studio-quality three-microphone array and a six-speaker sound system with Spatial Audio.

The M6 model otherwise focuses its biggest changes on performance, AI, connectivity and battery life rather than a redesign. Apple unveiled the new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 today.
