Apple releases macOS Golden Gate 27.2 with expanded Siri AI support

Apple has released macOS Golden Gate 27.2 for compatible Macs, bringing expanded Siri AI language support alongside a number of smaller interface changes and fixes.

The update expands Siri AI to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish, extending Apple’s latest assistant beyond the English-language rollout that arrived with macOS 27.

macOS Golden Gate 27.2 also introduces redesigned brightness and volume sliders, while Apple has continued making changes beneath the surface that appear to prepare macOS for new hardware.

During beta testing, The Apple Post reported on touch-like interactions discovered in macOS 27.2, including interface behavior resembling long-press gestures on iPhone and iPad. Apple is expected to introduce its first touchscreen MacBook Pro as part of its latest hardware rollout.

The update also includes bug fixes and security improvements. Mac users can install macOS Golden Gate 27.2 by opening System Settings, selecting General, and choosing Software Update.
