easyJet is bringing Starlink Wi-Fi to flights from 2027

easyJet has announced plans to introduce onboard Wi-Fi for the first time, with Starlink connectivity set to begin rolling out across its fleet from the first half of 2027.

The airline says the service will allow passengers to stream, game, browse the web, and stay connected on their own devices while flying, bringing high-speed internet access to easyJet flights for the first time.

According to easyJet, Starlink will be installed across its Airbus A320, A320neo, and A321neo fleet, with the rollout expected to be completed by early 2028.

For passengers traveling with an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, the change should make it possible to use many of the same online services available on the ground, including streaming video, messaging, browsing, and cloud-based work while in the air.

easyJet also says passengers will be able to use the connection to check flight information through its app and website, look up destination information such as weather and transport, and potentially order from the inflight menu from their seats.

The airline has not yet confirmed how much access to Starlink will cost, whether any level of connectivity will be offered free of charge, or exactly which routes and aircraft will receive the service first.

easyJet carried around 100 million passengers in 2025 and operates more than 350 aircraft across over 1,200 routes. The Starlink rollout is expected to begin during the first half of 2027 before expanding rapidly across the eligible fleet.
