iPhone Duo preorders open Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. PT (1 p.m. in the U.K.), ahead of the foldable iPhone arriving in stores one week later.
Apple will begin selling iPhone Duo on Friday, October 23. The gap between Apple’s September announcement and October release gives buyers longer than usual to decide on a model, storage capacity and accessories before orders open.
Demand for a completely new iPhone form factor can be difficult to predict, so customers hoping to receive iPhone Duo on release day may want to have their preferred configuration decided before preorders begin.
How to prepare for iPhone Duo preorders
Before preorder day, buyers should decide which storage capacity they want and make sure their Apple Account payment and delivery information is current. Apple’s Store app can also make the ordering process quicker when preorders go live.
iPhone Duo will be available starting October 23, when customers will also be able to see the foldable iPhone in person at Apple Store locations where it is sold.
