iCloud+ now includes Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no extra cost in over 100 countries

Apple is expanding iCloud+ in more than 100 countries, with subscribers gaining access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost as part of a major new services push.

The change means customers in eligible markets can get both services with even the entry-level 50GB iCloud+ plan, rather than paying separately or subscribing to an Apple One bundle. The rollout is taking place during September and covers a wide range of markets across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean and elsewhere.

According to 9to5Mac, the initiative is available in more than 100 countries, including India, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Türkiye, Nigeria and Pakistan. The United States and United Kingdom are not included.

Apple TV gives subscribers access to Apple’s catalog of original series, movies and documentaries, while Apple Arcade provides access to hundreds of games without advertising or in-app purchases across supported Apple devices.

The move substantially increases the value of iCloud+ in the participating countries. Until now, customers wanting iCloud+ alongside Apple TV and Apple Arcade would generally have needed individual subscriptions or Apple One where available.

The expansion is also bringing Apple TV to 59 additional countries where the streaming subscription had not previously been offered, increasing the service’s reach to around 170 countries.

Some eligible markets are additionally receiving a new Apple Music Select offering through iCloud+, providing access to a selection of ad-free radio stations and the option to upgrade to the full Apple Music service at a reduced price.

Apple’s standard iCloud+ plans continue to provide additional cloud storage alongside features including iCloud Private Relay, Hide My Email, Custom Email Domain and HomeKit Secure Video, with available features varying by country or region.

The new bundle represents a notable change in Apple’s approach to growing its subscription services in markets where Apple One may be less established, effectively using iCloud+ as the gateway to Apple TV and Apple Arcade without increasing the cost of the cloud-storage subscription.
