Apple raises Apple TV and Apple One prices weeks after Apple Music increase

Apple has announced another round of subscription price increases, with the company raising the cost of Apple TV and the Apple One Individual bundle.

As first reported by 9to5Mac, Apple has confirmed that the monthly price of Apple TV is increasing from $12.99 to $14.99 in the United States. The annual Apple TV plan is also increasing from $99 to $119.

The Apple One Individual plan is also getting more expensive, rising from $19.95 to $21.95 per month. Apple’s other Apple One bundles, including Family and Premier, are not changing as part of today’s price increase.

The latest increase comes just weeks after Apple raised the price of Apple Music, which also led to higher prices for the Apple One Family and Apple One Premier plans. At the time, Apple left the Individual Apple One tier unchanged, but that plan is now also increasing.

The new prices take effect today for new subscribers. Existing subscribers will not be charged the higher price immediately, with Apple saying customers will be notified around a month before the new pricing applies to their account.

The increase makes Apple TV the latest Apple service to become more expensive as the company continues to adjust pricing across its subscription lineup. Apple TV has grown significantly in recent years, with Apple investing heavily in original films, documentaries, and series, including high-profile titles across drama, comedy, sports, and entertainment.

For Apple One subscribers, the Individual plan still bundles several Apple services into one monthly payment, including Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and iCloud storage. However, the latest increase reduces some of the savings for customers who use the bundle mainly to avoid paying for each service separately.

Apple has not announced any changes to the content, features, or benefits included with Apple TV or Apple One as part of the price rise.
