Apple has released iOS 26.5.2 for iPhone, bringing another small update ahead of the launch of iOS 27 later this year. The release does not introduce any new features, instead focusing on security improvements and behind-the-scenes fixes.
According to Apple’s release notes, iOS 26.5.2 includes: “This update provides security fixes for your iPhone.”
Apple has also published an updated security support document detailing the vulnerabilities addressed in the release. The update fixes nearly 30 security issues, with many of the patches relating to WebKit, the browser engine that powers Safari and many web views across iOS.
Alongside iOS 26.5.2, Apple has also released iPadOS 26.5.2 and macOS 26.5.2, both of which similarly focus on security improvements.
