Apple updates App Store Connect Analytics with new monetization data and over 100 metrics

Apple has rolled out a major update to App Store Connect Analytics, introducing new monetization insights, subscription data, and more than 100 additional metrics for developers.
The update marks the biggest overhaul to Analytics since its original launch, with Apple focusing on helping developers better understand how their apps and in-app purchases are performing. For the first time, developers can now access detailed monetization and subscription data directly within Analytics, offering deeper insight into revenue, offers, and user spending behavior.
Apple has also introduced new cohort analysis tools, allowing developers to group users based on shared attributes such as download date, source, or offer start date. This makes it easier to track how specific groups of users behave over time, such as comparing how quickly users in a new region convert to paying customers versus those in more established markets. Apple says all cohort data is aggregated to maintain user privacy.
The update also adds peer group benchmarks, giving developers a way to compare their app’s performance against others. New benchmarks include download-to-paid conversion rates and proceeds per download, helping developers better understand how their monetization strategies stack up. Apple says these benchmarks use differential privacy techniques to ensure individual developer data remains protected.
In addition, Apple has introduced two new subscription reports that can be exported through the Analytics Reports API, making it easier for developers to integrate App Store data into their own systems and perform more detailed offline analysis.
Developers can now also apply up to seven filters at once when viewing metrics, making it easier to drill down into specific data points and uncover trends.
Alongside the new features, Apple has published a new App Store Analytics Guide within App Store Connect Help, designed to help developers build a more data-driven strategy and better understand how to use Apple’s tools to grow their apps and businesses.
