Android Quick Share now works with iOS AirDrop

Google has announced that Android’s Quick Share feature is now compatible with Apple’s AirDrop, enabling file transfers between Android and iOS devices for the first time. The update supports sharing photos, videos, documents and other files with nearby devices.
“This makes file transfer easier between iPhones and Android devices, and starts rolling out today to the Pixel 10 family,” Google said in the announcement. The company added that device choice should not limit sharing between family and friends.
Google says it plans to improve the experience over time and expand support to more Android devices as the rollout progresses.
