Thieves charged following $300k Apple Store gunpoint delivery theft

Three men have been charged in connection with the armed robbery of a delivery vehicle carrying Apple products worth more than $300,000, according to the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut and the New Haven Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Authorities say the suspects targeted a delivery driver who had stopped at a commuter lot before making a scheduled shipment to an Apple Store in South Windsor, Connecticut.
The men allegedly stole approximately $316,753 in Apple merchandise — including iPhones, iPads, and accessories — as well as around $1,000 in cash from the driver.
Each of the charges the men face carries a maximum prison sentence of up to 20 years.
