While much of the spotlight is on iOS 26, expected to debut in the coming weeks, Apple is also preparing another software update. According to MacRumors, web analytics shows Apple is actively testing iOS 18.7, which is expected to launch later this month.
The update will likely be among the final releases for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, as those models are not compatible with iOS 26.
iOS 18.7 isn’t expected to introduce major new features. Instead, it will likely deliver bug fixes and security improvements to keep older devices stable and secure.
