Apple Vision Pro still expected to expand outside the US before June, reports Kuo

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has said that he still expects Apple to expand Apple Vision Pro availability beyond the US before WWDC in June, claiming that now demand has levelled out in the US, Apple is now waiting for regulatory approval from other countries before releasing the device elsewhere.

Kuo claimed earlier this month that Apple could launch its mixed-reality Apple Vision Pro headset on an international scale prior to WWDC, saying at the time that Apple was adapting algorithms to comply with various countries’ regulations before releasing the device outside of the US.

Separately, a report from IT Home citing Wall Street News, claimed recently that Apple’s international expansion of Apple Vision Pro could see the wearable launch in China “as early as April [but] no later than May,” although the device may need to be renamed to comply with an existing Chinese trademark for the “Vision Pro.”

Apple introduced Apple Vision Pro last year, made from a single piece of three-dimensionally shaped laminated glass with an aluminum alloy frame that contours to the user’s face, the device boasts an array of advanced cameras and sensors. These components collaborate to deliver an immersive mixed-reality experience, enhanced by speakers strategically positioned near the user’s ears to provide Spatial Audio, resulting in lifelike three-dimensional environments.
