Apple shares humorous ‘Call Me’ Apple TV+ ad featuring Timothée Chalamet

Apple is promoting Apple TV+ through a humorous new ad starring Timothée Chalamet, in which the actor is shown lusting to have his own series on the streaming service after “almost all the biggest stars in Hollywood” managed to appear in the service’s shows and movies.

The ad, titled ‘Call Me’ starts with Chalamet watching Apple’s CODA, named Best Picture at the Academy Awards, and quietly getting jealous for not being included. The clip goes on to show the actor scrolling through Apple TV+, naming some of the famous faces who have documentaries, movies and series on the service, with Chalamet telling himself enviously how he too could play parts in the app’s featured content.

The actor then goes on to receive a FaceTime call from Jason Momoa, who is set to star in Apple’s upcoming series “Chief of War,” marking the actor’s second title on the service after first appearing in drama series See, with Chalamet saying “You have a new Apple show?” with Momoa replying, “At this point, who doesn’t?,” worsening Chalamet’s jealousy.

The ad closes with Chalamet laying in bed upset, rolling over to face the camera and say “Hey, Apple… call me?”
